Food Poisoning: Food Poisoning causes abdominal pain, spreads through contaminated foods and water. It is usually self-treatable. Symptoms are cramping nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. It may clear up within few days to weeks. Treatment: The patient experiences excess amount of fluid loss during this time. Hence, the first concern is to keep yourself hydrated. You may include easy to digest foods in your eating plan. The national institute of health recommended soup, fruit juices, soft fruits, vegetables, Banana, rice, applesauce and toast. Avoid foods that are high in fiber, sugar, fat and dairy.
Food Poisoning Prevention
It is easy to prevent than to cure. So, try to add some of these habits in your daily routing to prevent food poisoning in future. These habits are as follow:
1. Wash your hand before eating- is best way to prevent germs from entering your body.
2. Use separate utensil for raw food and cooked food to prevent cross contamination. Cross contamination allows bacteria to transfer from one substance to other. So it is better to prevent this by keeping raw food and cooked food away from each other.

4. Avoid stale foods: You must be aware of side effects of eating stale foods. Stale foods may hold toxins or bacteria. According to research, bacteria grows rapidly at room temperature. Hence, the food can become unsafe to eat if it is left out for more than 2 hour. If you are not confident about quality of stale foods then do not eat it.
